Nairobi Tented Camp

Nestled in indigenous woodland in Nairobi’s leafy Karen district, Nairobi Tented Camp offers a serene forest retreat just minutes away from the city and the airports. This is a unique alternative to a hotel stay in the city centre and where guests can start or end their Kenya safari adventure.

There is a huge variety of activities to explore from Nairobi Tented Camp, including wildlife experiences and cultural excursions.

Guests can visit the nearby Nairobi National Park for unique big game viewing with the city skyline in the background; they can enjoy close-up conservation experiences at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the renowned Giraffe Center; and they can take guided nature walks through forest trails or explore nearby attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum and local markets.

Your Stay is Eco-Friendly

Designed for minimal environmental impact, the camp blends seamlessly into the indigenous forest using sustainable materials and removable structures.

The camp is entirely solar-powered and has no permanent structures, ensuring minimal environmental impact. It has 9 ensuite guest tents with flushing toilet, running shower, king or twin beds, writing desk, charging points and a private veranda.

A dining tent, outdoor seating area, and evening fires create a warm communal atmosphere under the stars.
